Floating on a Cloud

I can't believe it. I feel like a Disney princess, but somehow 'The Great Baldini" doesn't sound as elegant as Cinderella, Jasmine, or Sleeping Beauty. Either way, last night was a dream. I went to the homecoming dance at my high school. I was voted Homecoming Queen, and my boyfriend Matt was Homecoming King. Even as I sit here typing this I can't believe it. It is amazing how my class makes me feel like such a part of them, even though I am not physically at school. I am so grateful to everyone for their support. Last night I felt cancer-free and on top of the world.

  1. Congratulations Gabi!!! I saw your pictures and you look beautiful :) Also, you are the best writer I've ever read. I'm serious. My mom even said that you should publish a book! Hang in there and I hope we can talk soon :D

  3. Wow! Wow! Gabi, you are so deserving of the Homecoming crown! Those IMSA kids are smart in all kinds of ways, aren't they? I'm so pleased that you are treasuring your view from the top of the world :)
This will be the perfect feeling to hang onto; it will embed itself into your memory so that you can savor it over and over again!

  4. Gabi, I am so glad you guys had a great time! I was thinking about you all evening. This morning Josh said "Can we call Matt and find out if he and Gabi had fun??" I am so glad it was a good time. You deserve a night off. (Okay, you deserve a lot more than a night off, but at least that!!!) You look so beautiful! Hang in there and keep smiling!

  5. Querido Gabi,

Tus fotos son tan lindos. ¡Y como siempre eres una belleza! La semana pasada oí que existe un grupo de refugiados de Bhutan cerca de mi universidad y pensaba sobre ustedes y sus corazones fuertes de Exodus.

    Muchos brazos,
    Kristen Lee

    Stay strong, sweetie.
